Prayer, a priority

Prayer will always be a priority for us at St Peters. Our prayer walks have continued through the year and we have developed a monthly prayer plan that ensures main focal points and every road in the area is prayed for. We also have a weekly prayer meeting that is open to everyone. We know that so much of our work has been seeded in prayer and are grateful for those that have journeyed with us and are praying – not just in London but across the world!

We meet at 7:30pm on Thursdays

Remembrance…..

We are at Cricklewood station today when we will be giving out these booklets named ‘Silence….’. It helps us reflect on our history when we remember those that bought our freedom with their lives and the armistice of 100 years ago.

As Christians, we remember Jesus Christ who also gave his life for us and we want to remember that all of us can know peace, love and hope.

Learning Together

We are excited about what God is doing here in Cricklewood, there is lots happening and exciting prospects are on the horizon.

We meet each Sunday evening for ‘worship, prayer and word’ alongside food – it is a source encouragement and learning as we explore God’s word together. We also meet through the month to pray as a team and to seek God for His guidance in the future of St Peters and the plans that are gathering pace.

A small number of us have joined together and joined the Church Planting Course at the “Centre for Church Planting and Growth” which is run by London Diocese in the Church of England.

Please feel free to join with us on Sundays or get in touch to hear about the plans for Christmas 2018 and the New Church meetings in 2019.

Learning from the church of old…

Our Sunday meetings have been an encouragement these last weeks, IMG_4857as we have been looking at the New Testament book of Colossians and how it relates to us today. It feels as if we have been immersed in learning and encouragement as we have looked at putting our trust and confidence in Jesus Christ.

We want to be a church that is known for proclaiming Christ, shows peace to all people and provides a safe haven for those who face challenges in their lives. In the early days of beginning this new congregation, we are filled with hope, joy and peace – this is God’s work and we work with Him to bear fruit in the kingdom, in this corner of God’s vineyard, here in Cricklewood.

Truly, these are exciting times – feel free to join with us and partner with us in the gospel.
