Learning Together

We are excited about what God is doing here in Cricklewood, there is lots happening and exciting prospects are on the horizon.

We meet each Sunday evening for ‘worship, prayer and word’ alongside food – it is a source encouragement and learning as we explore God’s word together. We also meet through the month to pray as a team and to seek God for His guidance in the future of St Peters and the plans that are gathering pace.

A small number of us have joined together and joined the Church Planting Course at the “Centre for Church Planting and Growth” which is run by London Diocese in the Church of England.

Please feel free to join with us on Sundays or get in touch to hear about the plans for Christmas 2018 and the New Church meetings in 2019.

The Old Bard at Quiz Night Challenge…

On Saturday evening we had a community quiz evening with St Johns, West Hendon. It was a great evening of fun, challenge and laughter, with all teams running it close until the final table round.IMG_1299┬áThe breadth of knowledge of the participants was inspiring, if not quite disturbing? Who else would know which country had the most female pipe smokers? Not all the questions demanded random knowledge and the victorious ‘Dez’s Desirables’ won by just 2 points.

One of the rounds saw our likeable quizmaster displaying his shakespearean acting skills (well, skill may not be quite accurate!) to raucous laughter, and we needed to remember that there was a quiz to win. The writings of ‘The Bard’ are obviously well known in this area.

It was a fun night and we made new friends, laughed with old friends and we were greatly encouraged.
