Our area is in the midst of major change as we are on the edge of a regeneration scheme, here in north west London. The changes will be huge and children born today will have left school by the time it is complete. Change is never easy but it is a constant and there is truth in the saying that we ‘do not fear change but rather the loss that change demands’.

Our hope, at St Peters, is to guide, support and nurture the local people in and through this change. As a church, we want to demonstrate that the never changing love of God is as real in times of change, as well as times of stability. Should the church engage solely in the ‘spiritual lives of its members’? Absolutely not! The church is here for all people, meeting needs, celebrating success and being ambassadors for Christ in all the changing scenes of life.

Regeneration is here….we will be there in the midst…let us serve you.

Dates for the Diary

New dates for the diary;

14th September – Prayer Walk around the redevelopment area of the Parish

27th September – Prayer – 7:30pm

17th October – Prayer – 7:30pm

9th November – Prayer – 7:30pm

Please remember that we are no longer doing the monthly sunday meetings. However, we are doing a number of gatherings in different homes between October and Christmas.

Changing gears, new meeting structures

After 5 months of meeting at the vicarage, on a set Sunday each month, we are going to explore some new ways of meeting and places where we can gather. Whilst we are in the early stages of our new church, we are going to take the opportunity to try a few new things.

We will be meeting in the homes of local people for prayer and word, we will have some formalised prayer meetings and we will see how we can invite new people into the St Peters family. Meanwhile, we continue with a weekly sung eucharist at St John, Hendon (9:30am each Sunday) and a midweek Eucharist there too.

Watch this space for meeting times and events…..

2nd Sundays

We continue to meet on the second Sunday of each month and have been blessed by God on each occasion. Please feel free to join us and share with what God is doing in this part of Cricklewood

2nd Sunday

It is the 2nd Sunday of the month and so we will be meeting again at 4pm (Vicarage) to continue our series in Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the ruins. Quite a poignant book as we seek to resurrect the Anglican church in this corner of God’s vineyard
